Respect | Ute
We uphold the mana of every person, treating all with dignity and fairness, embracing diverse perspectives.
Whare Whakaute began in 2024 with a clear purpose: to walk alongside whānau, wāhine, and vulnerable communities as they face the justice system - often unsure, overwhelmed, or alone.
We’re a collective of legal professionals, iwi, and community advocates with the shared aspiration of a more meaningful and equitable participation within our justice and legal systems for whānau, wāhine and our disadvantaged communities.
We will break barriers to accessing meaningful support and build capability within our communities to untangle complex legal processes and systems regardless of ethnicity, culture or abilities.
A proud, connected and thriving South Auckland, where whānau are resilient, uplifted and flourishing - grounded in kaupapa Māori and Pasifika values.
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, we are underpinned by our core values.
We uphold the mana of every person, treating all with dignity and fairness, embracing diverse perspectives.
We build meaningful connections grounded in trust, care and shared responsibility.
We uphold the highest standards in our mahi — doing what’s right, taking ownership, and empowering others through example.
We create spaces where all whānau feel welcomed, seen, and supported — no matter who they are or where they come from.
Growing and cultivating our young people to be leaders in our communities. Building stronger characters, better people and quality members of society.
Whānau-Centred. Culture-Led. Justice-Focused.
